If you’re locked in a power struggle with Chinese privet, cotoneaster, gorse, barberry, or moth plant, this is your secret weapon. Because it’s a high-viscosity gel, it stays exactly where you apply it, reducing environmental drift and keeping the focus entirely on the target. It’s low toxicity for the local wildlife but a total nightmare for invasive shrubs.

The Technical Bits:
Active Ingredient: 43g/kg Picloram. It works by disrupting cell growth, translocating through the plant to ensure the job is finished. It’s powerful stuff, and with power comes the need for a little gardener’s discretion.

A Word to the Wise:
Picloram is ground-residual, meaning it can travel through the soil, especially in the wet. We recommend keeping it well away from your sensitive natives or any plants with closely associated root systems. Check the forecast, too—you’ll want at least a two-hour window of dry weather after application to let the gel do its work without leaching.

The Fine Print:
Treat this with the respect it deserves. It can cause an allergic skin reaction and is toxic to the soil environment. If you’re a commercial contractor, you’ll need to be an approved handler.
