Exterm-An-Ant
Exterm-An-Ant
The ultimate "Trojan Horse" for your ant problem.
There’s a specific kind of internal sigh a gardener makes when they spot an ant trail. It’s the start of a battle for territory. But while others might reach for a temporary fix, those in the know reach for Exterm-An-Ant. This isn’t just a repellent; it’s a strategic take-down.
Developed in 1985 by renowned microbiologist John Smale—who was, quite literally, the chief chemist at a meat works—this formula was born out of a professional necessity for something that actually works. It’s been family-made in Hamilton for over 35 years and is so trusted it’s used at our borders to protect New Zealand from introduced species. That’s the kind of pedigree we respect.
How it works: This is an odourless, carbohydrate-based liquid bait that plays on an ant’s natural instincts. They find it, they love it, and they carry it back to the heart of the nest. It targets a wide range of species—including those relentless Argentine ants—ensuring the entire colony is dealt with, not just the scouts on your counter.
The Ritual: Shake well. Pour 4–5ml into a shallow dish or onto a piece of foil near the trail. Place it in areas not accessible to pets or humans, sit back, and let the science do the heavy lifting. If you’re facing a heavy infestation, lay several baits and repeat until the silence is restored.
