Here’s the clever bit: it isn't a poison. Using a low-hazard iron chelate formula, Quash is deadly to the mollusks but much safer to use around your children, pets, and the local wildlife than those old-school metaldehyde or methiocarb baits. When those garden-wreckers consume the pellets, they simply head back to their hiding spots and, well, don't come back. It’s effective, efficient, and considerably more dignified than the alternatives.

Because we know the true obsessives are out there in all weathers, these pellets are specifically designed to last longer in damp conditions—exactly when slugs and snails are most active. The Ritual:

• Sprinkle around the groups of plants you’re protecting at a rate of 50 pellets (about a teaspoon) per square metre.
