Tool Care Kit - Grey
Tool Care Kit - Grey
Tool care, the Japanese way. Boxed.
The Tool Care Kit is the complete Japanese maintenance ritual, packed into a Niwaki steel toolbox that finally keeps it all together. Rust Eraser, Camellia Oil, Oil Dispenser and #1000 Sharpening Stone, with a little room left over for twine and an old rag. Everything your carbon steel needs to stay sharp, clean and rust-free, in one place, for once.
Picture the end of a pruning session. Rust Eraser over the blade to lift sap and grime. A few strokes on the stone, soaked first, its concave edge following the curve of your secateurs. Then a thin coat of camellia oil from the dispenser, no drips, no mess. Lid closed, clasp shut, tools sorted. Little and often, as Niwaki say, and your blades will outlive your fence.
The T-Type Tool Box is made in Osaka, pencil case sized, with a lockable clasp and a hip-style roof for extra standing room. In grey, it looks like it belongs in a workshop.
A proper gift for anyone who has just bought their first carbon steel tools. Or for the gardener who already treats their secateurs better than their cutlery. Buy once, buy well.
