We’ve ensured the movement is buttery-smooth, and thanks to the plate welded to the base stem, installation is straightforward. No engineering degree required—just a good spot and a few non-corrosive fixings.

Pro-Tips for Installation:

1. Pick a prominent, open spot where the wind can find it.
2. Source your own non-corrosive bolts or screws (match them to your mounting surface).
3. Use a spirit level to ensure the stem is perfectly vertical before you tighten everything down.
4. Align your NSEW cross using a compass (or your phone) and tighten that lock bolt.
5. Crucial step: Apply some grease to the axle before sliding the top on. Ensure the ball bearing slides up inside the axle to rest on the shaft. This reduces wear and keeps that rotation effortless.
